B.J.'s Brew Coffee Cup
B.J.'s Brew Coffee Cup
This Christmas Coffee Blend is named in honor of CPL Bryant J. (B.J.) Luxmore, who was counting down the days he would return from deployment to spend Christmas back home with his family. Bryant was so proud to be from the small town of New Windsor, IL and grew up in the country where he and his brother, Brock, would play baseball for hours! They were one another's best friends and worst critics, with an unbroken bond of brotherhood. After graduating from Sherrard High School, where he played both football and baseball, he attended Monmouth College and graduated from Illinois College, continuing his baseball career throughout his collegiate years. Baseball was his passion! B.J. honored his parents’ wishes for him to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree and then entered the U.S. Army in April of 2011. He married Jaimie Lower in October of 2011 and they relocated to Ft. Stewart, GA, excited to begin their life together with their son, Lane. They completed his life. He was deployed to Panjwai, Afghanistan in March of 2012 and killed on June 10, 2012. Throughout his deployment, he kept a journal of his experiences, and the first journal entry read, “If you don’t live for something, you will die for nothing." B.J. was a quiet hero who was looked up to by everyone that knew him; he took work seriously but had an amazing sense of humor and quick wit. His heart was huge, his smile was infectious, and his dimples made him unforgettable. He lived with a purpose, and his family is truly honored to carry on his legacy.
